Pierre Pellegrini is a Swiss based photographer who uses the medium of photography as a tool to communicate and state of emotive intent. To create a visual connection and communication to the audience to evoke a re-action from the audience due to it’s vast emptiness within the subject matter. I find his work very soothing, allowing a state for self reflection and curiosity, playing with the empty void using imagination. I feel to evoke such communication through landscape photography is a powerful thing to achieve.

He named this series ‘Thoughts in Time’, It is a collection of long exposure images of trees, frequently subjecting fog and emptiness. The name of the series was chosen because time is the key factor in long exposure photography, and to Pierre, every picture contains not only the image itself, but also all the thoughts that he had time to ponder over between each frame.
