Minimalist Urban – Matthias Heiderich

Posted on October 22, 2012

“When I go out I search for patterns, lines, colors, the abstracts of the urban landscapes to transform them into something new, take them out of their contexts,”

German based photographer Matthias Heiderich, has a unique eye, an eye to see and look out for the brilliant display of shapes, lines, patterns and of course minimalism. His attention to arranging the subjects in frame with a fantastic composition is simply brilliant as he brings out the best in what he can see.

He makes his home town in Berlin looks exciting and dynamic, a place I would love to visit, a place I’d imagine in a superhero comic with lots of bright colours and exciting shapes and patterns. His simple approach to Urban photography really provides a refreshing out take on a stereotypically grungy area of photography.
