Florian Imgrund – ‘Inthoughts’

Posted on April 26, 2012

“The unique charm of analog photographs connected with the original handcraft of photography fascinates me. After I got my first analog camera in summer of 2010 I started shooting more and more. This growing portfolio is the result of my passion. All of these photographs are captured on film, self developed and without any computer manipulation.”

I found Florian’s work fascinating and without the digital incorperation makes the photographs even more honest, that sense of having them untouched by manipulation is a breath of fresh air and so this brings me to my appreciation of the old technology of photography. I also really enjoy the rebate feature that frames the photo to demonstrate that Florian didnt even crop it within the process of development.
